VividMono was made directly in WordPress itself by using the amazing Create Block Theme plugin. I took Automattic’s distinctive Bedrock theme as a base but as the design evolved, I gradually tinkered nearly all of it away in a visual sense.
I’ve also used some other tools:
- Visual Studio Code to make some manual edits to theme.json
- The Theme Check plugin to help ensure I’m following guidelines.
- This site is hosted on WordPress.com
- The code is hosted on GitHub.
